What is the Parma Area Chamber of Commerce?

The Parma Area Chamber of Commerce is an Advocacy organization comprised of Investors(businesses, non-profit organizations and individuals) that come together to advocate commercial, professional, industrial, financial and civic interests of a community.It is a clearinghouse, public relations counselor, and a legislative representative at the local and national levels of government, an information bureau and a research and promotional.

The Parma Area Chamber of Commerce was established January 1, 1955, although indication that an earlier, unchartered chamber existed from 1936.The city of Parma Heights welcomed in the current chamber in the fall of 1985, which prompted the name to change to the “Parma Area Chamber of Commerce” (PACC).The addition of the city of Seven Hills created a tri-city service area that corresponds to the school district and allows the cities to work even closer together, for the betterment of all.

A 15 member, elected Board of Directors governs the Parma Area Chamber of Commerce.

The Parma Area Chamber of Commerce is a progressive business and professional organization that seeks like-minded members.Business owners, representatives of large, medium and small companies, consisting of manufacturers, retailers or service companies are welcomed as Investors of the Parma Area Chamber of Commerce.Civic organizations and their leadership, government and school officials, military and some private citizens are all welcomed as Investors.
